Only seen the first one so far, but I loved it when they were deciding who would be going at the end of the episode and even though they all hated the cocky stuntman wannabe, was great that they left him in purely because 'We want to fucking break him'.

And my missus would like some extra one on one instructing from Foxy the slut!!

The Scottish fella Colin was one of the SAS guys that was captured in Iraq and rescued before being executed. I remember the story at the time and of course the photo of the guy on fire trying to get out of his tank.

Re: SAS - Who Dares Wins C4
I agree that I've preferred this one so far.

No disrespect to any of the women in the other show who are currently 100 times fitter than I am, but they were all fucked when it came to the heavy lifting tasks and there's a reason no woman will EVER complete selection for the SAS.

With the mental tasks, it never ceases to amaze me how easy it is for them to break or wind up some people.

Re: SAS - Who Dares Wins C4
The other show certainly had participants that had a bit more grit

Every 5 minutes last night someone was handing over their number !

They handed in their numbers because they were beyond ruined/exhausted, 7 hours of hardcore sickener would make most people quit. SAS version is much more realistic and harder than the hell week version

Not saying either isnt tough, just saying the lads and lasses on the BBC one seemed to have abit more about them then the lads last night although few of them are quite a bit older

Re: SAS - Who Dares Wins C4
Most of the Hell Week mob were hand picked. 80% of them compete at a very high standard in certain endurance events.

This SAS mob just do their own fitness which probably doesn't involve carrying a 3 stone backpack 21 KM's over a mountain.

I'm loving the show.
Imagine the shit that goes on in the real selection process let alone the safe to show on TV stuff.
